The mileage required for upgrading and maintaining the Elite membership is the basic miles you earn when flying on eligible classes on Hong Kong Airlines(HX), Hong Kong Express Airways(UO), Grand China Air(CN), Hainan Airlines(HU), Lucky Air(8L), Tianjin Airlines(GS), West Air(PN) and Capital Airlines(JD) flights, excluding the bonus miles, partner miles or any other promotion miles.
